Happy 3rd Birthday, Paul!

It's hard to believe that 3 years have gone by so quickly! We thought it fitting to share some of Paul's current "Favorites..."

Sport: Baseball
Team: Yankees
Player: Derek Jeter
Toy: His baseball glove and his dog "Stretch"
Color: Purple
Movie: CARS
Food: Other than most types of fruit...hot dogs, hamburgers, french fries, chicken nuggets, and pizza (but the fruit cancels it all out, right?)
Song: Life is a Highway (Rascal Flatts- from CARS)
Book: Anything with fire trucks, Let's Go Yankees, and CARS books
Vehicle: Fire trucks, police cars, and Corvettes
Playground Toy: Slide
Pet Peeve: People who don't wear shirts (???)
Paul enjoyed a party with friends at the Little Gym the day before his birthday. (Birthday boy in the light blue...) Thanks to everyone for such a great time!

Other than spending time with his buddies, one of the highlights was his Yankees birthday cake...

...it was yummy!

Paul was so excited about all of his birthday gifts! Here, he sports his new "Jeter" jersey and batting helmet (he bears an uncanny resemblance to Darth Vader from the back), as he rounds the bases on our "baseball field" in the front lawn!

This year, Paul chose a "Tractor Cake" for his birthday. I found some great decorating ideas online, so we took the plunge and found a Wilton Tractor pan- Paul thought it was pretty "sweet!"

Happy Father's Day!

This year was particularly special because Paul's birthday fell on Father's Day. Prior to the 19th, Paul was able to share donuts with Grandpa Palmer at his annual school event. At last count, he had gobbled up 5 donut holes...

One of Paul's special gifts for PJ each year is a photo memory book, detailing all of the special times they shared over the course of the year. Here they are, enjoying it together!

Paul enjoys bowling for the first time at Aiden's 4th birthday party. Of course, he used a purple bowling ball!

Driving Grandpa's boat on Memorial Day Weekend- we can't believe another year has gone by!

Paul enjoys reading Grandma's card with her on Mother's Day.
