Paul enjoys his visit with Uncle Bob!

Paul's first trip to the Public Market...we're hoping to build good habits of eating fresh fruits and vegetables :)
We ran into a bunch of people we knew...Kristin Keefe, the Dormitzers, and Jen Casasanta and her friend Julie.

So peaceful...who would guess that I ever cry?
"Guy Smiley..." Paul has started to smile more frequently this week, especially at the squishy green turtle hanging from his play gym.

Happy Birthday, Grandma!
Paul enjoyed celebrating Grandma Palmer's birthday with her. He was delighted that she liked the gift he picked out...a mouse pad with his picture. Perfect for "techie" Grandma!

Wow! These birthday parties really tire me out!
Just lounging!

Paul has started to take a greater interest in his environment. He likes to look in the mirror as he lays under his play gym...he wonders why the kid he sees looking back at him does all of the same things he does!

A retired teacher colleague and good friend, Suetta Tingler, sent Paul a giant stuffed primate (complete with opposable thumbs!). We named him Murcer, after Yankees great Bobby Murcer.

Paul was baptized at the 9:00am Mass at St. John the Evangelist Church on Sunday, July 13.
Paul's godparents, "Auntie" Leah and Uncle Bob joined Mom, Dad, and Father Werth at the baptismal font.
Paul wore his Dad's baptismal outfit for the service; he also received the embroidered bib below.

Family and friends came to 74 Arbordale to celebrate Paul's big day with a "Baptismal Brunch."

Aunt Mindy, Uncle Ben, and Cousin Owen came all the way from North Carolina to meet Paul. Owen loved his new little cousin...he liked to check in on him when he was sleeping and give his feet a tickle. "Just wait until next year, Paul; I'll be able to teach you lots of cool stuff!"

Paul likes to help Dad with his work on the computer. They do their best thinking in their white tees.

"Happy Birthday, Grandpa!" Paul gave Grandpa Palmer a "photomontage" of his first two weeks of life as a birthday gift.
Paul's first boat ride...Grandpa Palmer said he was too young to drive this year. Maybe next year...?

Happy Fourth of July, Everyone!
"The party hasn't even started yet, Paul!" says Grandma Palmer.
Decked out in red, white, and blue, Paul experienced his first third of July celebration at Grandma and Grandpa Palmer's on Conesus Lake. He managed to snooze through the "Ring of Fire" and all of the fireworks.
