Has it really been January 1 since the last post? Many apologies to our loyal followers... I'm not sure where the time has gone!

Life has been moving steadily along at the Brooker house- Paul has officially transitioned into his new room at school. He is now with children aged 18 months to 3 years old. While he misses his former teachers, he loves all of the new excitement of being a "Gummy Bear." Each day brings quiet play with his friends, a special craft based on a theme of study (January was Dinosaurs, and February is Mammals), opportunities to play outside, and just this week, exchanging Valentines with the other kids. He enjoys all of the privileges that come with being a "big boy."

Just this past week we listed our house, and after 7 showings in two days, we accepted an offer! While we will miss this home and our neighborhood, we are excited to begin a new chapter of our lives at 7 Finch Wood Lane. We are hoping to close at the end of April!

Other than that, we are just trying to stay warm and are looking forward to the first signs of Spring...

Here are a few photos of the little guy- it gets harder and harder to catch him for photo ops...
According to some of Paul's construction books, I believe that this piece of equipment is called a "backhoe." We are excited that digging has commenced for the building of our new home!

One of Paul's favorite spots in the house is the kitchen counter. He likes to sit and oversee all of the cooking...he likes to squeeze in between the cupboards and the toaster oven so that he can keep an eyeball on all of the "goings-on."

Paul's last Little Gym class of the semester- they even had a medal ceremony! Paul began his new class in February- he is learning lots of new skills!
Hammin' it up in the tub...

Hangin' out after dinner with Grandpa Brooker...
