Our first baby shower was this weekend at Nancy Miller's house, sponsored by "The Breakfast Club." Nancy, Evelyn, and Audean made this day extra-special for everyone who attended.

The day began with a surprise visit from my sister, Cari...she drove all the way from Massachusetts to be here to celebrate with us!

This delicious cake was homemade by Colleen
Lavery Murphy; the characters matched the
invitations!

Not a detail amiss...brunch was served on fine china

and fresh flowers adorned every room in the house.

What a spread...three types of casseroles,

homemade breads and coffee cake, fresh fruit...
we ate like queens!

Grandma put on her "teacher hat" to coordinate

the game she wrote... "In Other Words."

Aunt Lynne knows this little one is going to be

a baseball fan, just like Dad.

Yum! Time for cake!
