Happy 2nd Birthday!
Wow! Two years went by in the blink of an eye! Paul had a great birthday weekend- we went to Red Robin for dinner on Saturday, and then had our family party on Sunday. Thanks to all who helped to make Paul's day so special!

"Thank God for Dads and donuts!" Paul's school had their annual "Donuts with Dad" event to celebrate Father's Day. As you can see, PJ and Paul never begin a meal without saying Grace...

How many kids can you cram into a turtle sandbox? "At least 4!" exclaims Paul. He enjoyed sharing space with neighbors Caitlin, Brooke, and Aiden.

Paul's friend, Clara, came over on Monday to share a birthday cupcake with him (they were born 5 days apart). They had great fun watching all of the construction vehicles preparing the yard for hydroseeding...too bad we experienced monsoon-like winds and rain the day after the seed was planted...

The Krenzers came to visit Saturday night- Paul enjoyed sharing his books with Brady and his Dad...

"Check out my new wheels!"

Thanks to Grandpa Brooker for the new tricycle- the perfect gift for a guy who is about to turn 2!!!

Happy Memorial Day!

Of course the kick-off to summer would not be complete without a boat ride...especially on such a scorcher of a day!

Grandpa Palmer again let Paul take control of the wheel- he was also savvy enough to grab hold of the throttle and bring us to a complete stop in the middle of Conesus Lake! We're guessing that with a little fine tuning, Paul will be Captain of this ship by 2011!

Paul's First Parade...We went to the Memorial Day Parade in Livonia on Monday- Paul was excited to see the veterans, marching bands (who were wearing the same uniforms that Mom wore when she marched in the parade :), fire trucks, little league baseball players (he found friends in the Yankees), and the boy/girl scouts (who threw candy to the parade-goers!). Paul especially liked standing on the cannon at the Public Library- another one of Mom's childhood landmarks. He looks forward to going again next year!
